2024 Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC Derthona

Timorasso is one of Piedmont’s most important white grapes, yet somehow it still feels like one of its best-kept secrets. It has plenty of body, richness, and real mineral character. The 2024 is only their second vintage, but it is already looking pretty pleased with itself. Ripe peach, apricot, and acacia blossom mingle with honey, anise, a subtle balsamic note, and a touch of flint. Broad, waxy, and full on the palate, with lively acidity keeping everything nicely in line. Already delicious, with the structure to age beautifully.
