Chiusa Grande

2021 Casauria DOCG DNA d'Eusanio Montepulciano

Black cherry, crushed raspberry, an almost spoonable scent of cherry preserves. Give it a little time in the glass, and the dried flowers, liquorice, and tobacco begin to emerge. DNA is a nod to the D'Eusanio family, three generations of growing vines in Abruzzo, and this Montepulciano feels like their way of putting a family history and a whole lot of their beloved countryside into a bottle.
