2019 Toscana IGT Punta di Adine

Pure Sangiovese, and about as Tuscan as it gets: all tension, savoury depth, elegance, and the kind of structure that rewards patience. Complex and beautifully age-worthy. The name Punta di Adine literally refers to the highest point of the Adine vineyard, as every grape comes from a single parcel, Block 100, perched on the upper terrace of the site.

"Fragrant nose of walnuts, cinnamon, spiced plums, black cherries and chile jam. It’s full of flavour, showing spicy and earthy
undertones to the ripe fruit, framed by firm yet creamy tannins. Full-bodied, long and delicious. Drink or hold." -95pts, James Suckling
